Grandma is Here!

Tinkerbell toothpaste!

WHOA. The Princess mother-load.

Clothes too, oh my!

Grandma came to visit for the Easter weekend and we were ready! First, the girls were showered with Princess gifts and then Grandma got to see all of their toys, hear their stories and watch their dance moves.

Pops!

So, the cake pops were a HUGE hit with Olivia and Emma. They patiently waited until after school and finished their dinner before diving into the chocolate-covered-cakey goodness.

EGGS!

It was a little misty this morning. Very Seattle.

SEE?!

The Motley Crew.

Emma's preschool class had their own Easter Egg Hunt this morning. Looks like she had a lot of fun! Thanks to Emma's Teacher, Mrs. Nohemi for the pics!

Cake POP

Baked a box cake, mashed with frosting and molded into eggs.

Covered in melted white chocolate.

Cookie sticks were too large for the collander trick ... had to improvise.

Wrapped up they don't look so bad!

Inspired by a blog, of course, I attempted to make egg-shaped cake pops for Emma's preschool buddies. I have to say the blog made it look very easy and the pics were beautiful. Mine, not so much. I made them too big and actually lost three since they were too heavy and fell off the stick. Oh well, it's sugar for three year olds. I'm sure they won't notice.

EGG-Citing Morning

7 eggs for Emma!
3 eggs for Liv!

Basket-head.

Monkey see, monkey do ...

After soccer this morning we headed over to Infinity Park for their Easter Egg Hunt. The girls were brimming with excitement and the "is it starting yet?" mantra finally worked after 30 minutes of waiting. Ryan and the girls hit the field and grabbed eggs, Live with three and Emma with seven. Emma even picked one up for Liv and placed it in her basket - sweet sisterly love. A good practice run for the preschool Egg Hunt next Wednesday and the Gibson Family one on Easter morning (with Grandma!). Stay Tuned ...

Paint Party

The weather this afternoon was gorgeous so we hopped on the bikes an took a tour of Wash Park and Gaylord Street. Still full of energy, the girls decided to paint their planter boxes. Now, Mom and Dad need a nap ...

Build It Again, Sam

After soccer we ventured over to Lowe's to build pinball games. We knew we were in trouble when the Lady in charge told us the nail holes don't actually match up - uh, what? Tried our best and the girls were happy to get to take the plastic balls home.
