The Birthday Boy!

Cake pops ... mmm...

Having a blast!

Obstacle course.

Astronaut jumping.

We celebrated Dylan's 4th birthday party at Observatory park! We were blasted into space with games, atsronaut ice cream, planet cake pops and rocket ship favors. Kids went crazy for the playground, food and toys - SO fun. Happy Birthday, Dylan!

Happy 4th Birthday, Jack & Kate!

Jack, the skeleton?

Birthday girl, Kate!

Absolutely delicious cake.

Lucinda took over as face painter.

Riley and Olivia eating popcorn.

Games. Pin the tail on the piggy.

Jack & Kate have officially turned 4! To celebrate, the Lindwalls transformed their backyard into a carnival extravaganza. Games, face painting, fun food, popcorn and cotton candy - oh my! Thanks again for the fun party!

Play Room Reno

Table for tea parties and craft time.

Craft central!

Gibson kitchen training school.

Olivia has officially moved into her Big Girl room full-time, which means Ryan and I were able to renovate her nursery to the Play Room. A fresh coat of paint, new rug and light, shelves built into the closet ... and voila! Play Room central.

ZIP It

Olivia has found a new love ... ZIP Lines.

Butterfly Pavillion

Pink butterfly sucker.

Purple butterfly sucker. The highlight of the trip, of course.

Giant grasshopper.

Emma, the caterpillar.

Olivia, the Lady Bug, climbing a flower.

Butterflies!

Is there one on my back?

Ewwwwwwwwwwwww. Spiders.

Tarantula "Rosie". Yikes.

This morning, we ventured out to Westminister to check out the Butterfly Pavillion (bug museum). The girls were grossed out by the cockroaches and spiders and a little scared of the butterflies landing on them. Olivia was a bit more adventurous by getting close to a tarantula and riding a kid zip line about 20 times. Butterfly shaped suckers for a treat on the ride home. Thanks again Lindwall's for the free passes!

Sprinkler

Em and Liv in sprinkler action.

Hopscotch Sprinkler?

Action shot.

Jasmine, Ariel, Cinderella, Belle, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White!

Look at Emma's hops!

We tested out the princess hopscotch sprinkler from Grandma and Grandpa this afternoon. This was a total hit! Girls were running, splashing and hopping over and over and over again. We will have to have the Friday play group over to try it out - so fun!

Storage Room Reno

Shelving is in. Everything painted.

Storage bins are labeled and accessible.

Damn, Ryan is GOOD!

Ryan is at it again! This time, in the downstairs storage room, he is building custom shelving, painting and organizing our "stuff". Does he ever sleep? NO. Looks great, hon!

Sprinkle & Tinkle

Watching the sprinkler action from her throne.

Happy!

Thinking about it ...

Outside this morning for fun in the octopus sprinkler, plus Olivia went sans swim skirt to start tinkle training. She tested the potty out quite a few times, but finally peed on the grass instead. We started her on pull ups and she will officially start potty-training at school tomorrow. Liv picked out Big Girl panties this morning at Target - she chose Minnie Mouse above princess, hello kitty and Dora.

Hosed

Emma played fire fighter and got to turn on and hold a real fire hose. Go girl!

FIRE Truck!

Emma and her Daddy on the fire truck.

Olivia and her Mommy on the fire truck, right behind the driver!

Up in the fire truck ladder.

Put that fire out!

Junior fire fighters at work.

Daddy, the Fire Man.

Fire Fighters Museum downtown had a free event today. We took a tour of the museum, went up 40 feet in a cherry picker, Emma held a fire hose and we rode downtown in an old school fire truck!

Ride My Bicycle

SO serious.

Olivia is obsessed with her big girl bike, eventhough she can't quite reach the pedals.

Closet Reno

Removing the baseboard.

Shelves are toddler/preschooler tested, and approved.

Securing the shelving units.

Looking good! Everything fits and there is room for more shoes!

Ryan has a project! Building in a shelving unit for the front closet. Looks organized and spacious now - great work, RyMan!
