Bonjour! I borrowed a great cookbook from the library that has dinner ideas for $5 to feed a family of four. Crazy, right? The coolest part was it had super simple recipes to make everyday things from scratch: spaghetti sauce, breads, alfredo sauce, soups, etc. I was inspired today to make a loaf of french bread (le pein) using only flour, yeast, sugar, oil and salt. I have to say it was uber easy and insanely delish. Warm french bread with oil and vinegar ... yumm-o.

I Like Your Smile
Emma had her very first Dentist appointment today! She did awesome and her teeth looked fantastic. 20 teeth total and no cavities! Olivia checked everything out as well and got to know Dr. Meredith for their next visit in September. We just got home and the girls already want to brush and floss - so cute.

Girly Girls
After ballet/tap class this morning, the girls got goofy during painting time, insisting I put clips in their hair. Now, I beg and plead to "do" their hair all of the time, alas, they never let me. I jumped at the chance today and grabbed the camera for proof it could be done. Emma with 6 clips in her hair and Olivia with a hello kitty pony tail. Girly girls for about 5 minutes before they took them out, sigh.

Happy Birthday Christopher!
Kick It!
Lil Kickers officially started today and the Gibson Girls were ready! Emma is in the 3 to 4 year old Hoppers group with Coach Seth and Olivia is in the 18 month to 2 year old Bunnies class with Coach Natalie. Both girls were fantastic! They participated, followed directions, showed off their ball skills and had SO much fun.
