Tunnel

Ryan built the girls a tunnel out of two cardboard boxes. They spent the mid-morning designing and decorating with stickers and markers. Even the dogs took a turn in and out!

Bike Ride to Harvard Gulch Play Ground

Before the summer heat set in, we headed out for a bike ride through DU campus and over to Harvard Gultch Rec Center. They have an outdoor pool but it was packed for a swim meet. We ended up playing at the play ground instead.

We had to show Ryan the cool pool at Montclair! The girls also got to try out their new swim suits from Grandma and Grandpa - they worked great!

After naps we headed to the Montclair Rec Center to check out their kiddie pool. Our friend Heather has been telling us how cool it is - and she was right! The girls were hesitant at first, but quickly tried out the swan slide, bridge and fountains. We will be back tomorrow!

Baby Cakes

The Gibson bakery is officially closed! Just got done baking 40-some mini-cupcakes for Emma's preschool teacher. The class is hosting a Baby Shower for Mrs. Naomi tomorrow as she is due to have a baby girl in August. Pink cupcakes with pearls, lovely!
