Day 5 started out great. We went for a walk on the beach and Emma napped with Daddy while Mommy looked for shells. However, a mid-day storm brought in quite a bit of rain so we had playtime indoors.
Later in the afternoon, we headed back to the beach for more sand and water fun. Here are some photos from our beach day!
Another gorgeous day in Florida! This morning we took Emma to a local playground and she had a ton of fun swinging, climbing stairs and going down the slide with Mom and Dad. Emma wasn't feeling too good today so we took most of the day easy - no pool or beach time. Just an afternoon drive to explore the area and lots of play time indoors with Mom and Dad.
This morning we drove into Cocoa Beach and went to the famous Ron Jon Surf shop and then went a little further north to Cape Canaveral to see if we could see the NASA launch pad. We took a photo but we were seriously far away from it!
After Emma's afternoon nap we headed down to the beach to play in the sand. Next was a short stop in the pool and then back up to the room to play.
Another gorgeous day in Paradise! This morning, we hopped in the car and explored the area. Next, we ate complimentary coffee and doughnuts in the lobby of Oceanique. Emma napped. Then we walked down to the beach and played in the water and sand. Some pool time and then back to the room for dinner. Now, we are just enjoying the ocean air and sounds - and also eating ice cream and watching HGTV. Like I said ... PARADISE.
Just like the Vanilla Ice song, "Ice Ice Baby", we are living it up on A1A in Florida! We arrived this afternoon and we are already living the beach bum life.
We are staying at Ryan's parents time share "Oceanique" near Cocoa Beach - thanks Mom and Dad! It's FANTASTIC! We have settled in quite nicely, toured the place and took a stroll on the beach. Emma loves the ocean, picking up seashells and dumping sand in her hair.
