Fountain

Waiting for the SDX.

The Bellagio water show is about to begin.

ooooooooooooooooooh, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

We rode the bus down to the Bellagio to see the water show. We timed it right and got to see three shows in a row. Funny enough, it started to rain, so we hustled back to the bus stop for a ride to the hotel. Tomorrow, we get back in the RV for a 4-hour drive to an Arizona campground. Hopefully, it won't be too hot and we can roast more marshmallows!

Vegas, Baby

Inside the Bellagio, is this crazy chocolate fountain - awesome.

The talking tree in the Bellagio Garden.

It's a princess Hello Kitty.

Riding the bus up and down the strip.

We had planned to stay in Vegas only one night, but checked the weather report for our next camping destination in Cali and it is super hot. Sleeping in an RV in 106 degree weather is a little too "roughing it" for us. Instead, we took a tour of the strip today and showed the Girls some of the sights. The Bellagio was a big hit (thanks for the idea, Aunt Joyce!). After naps we will be heading to the pool and then down the strip again to see the fountain show and the pretty lights. Perhaps a stop at Serendipity if the kiddos behave?

The Journey Begins ...

We are ready!

Ryan drove nearly the whole way. Once you go over 70 mph, it feels like the BEAST is going to break apart.

We are so chic in our suits on the canyon.

We made it!

Vegas, baby.

Day 1 started off dark and early. We drove 12 hours through Colorado, Utah and into Arizona to stay at a camp site near the Grand Canyon. We cooked up ribs, roasted marshmallows and spent the night in the RV. This morning, we headed off to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon (way cool) and got back on the road towards Las Vegas. Now, we just got back from the rooftop pool at our HOTEL and we are getting ready to hit the strip. Should have taught the kids to count cards ... Stay tuned!

She's thinking about that 12-hour drive, already ...

Someone's excited!

Olivia has the keys and is ready to go.

The BEAST.

Checking out the top bunk. Why is it that one is happy when one is sad?

The RV is here! Ryan has packed it up and we are ready to roll. The Girls did a full inspection tonight, and we were lucky enough to have of our friends stop by to check it out. Stay tuned, we leave for Day 1 tomorrow, bright and early. The plan is a short, 12-hour drive to a campground on the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Wish us luck!
