Got Wood?

We do! Ryan and I installed the hard wood floor in the new guest bedroom downstairs. Sorry to all of the neighbors for the late night sawing in the garage. Check it out! Ryan's on to building the bunk bed frame.

Liv Turns 7 Months Old

Little O is growing fast! She's already a confident sitter, babbles and laughs and gets mad if you don't share your food with her. By far her favorite thing to do is to take off her socks and eat them (seen here). Emma and Olivia are having a great time becoming best friends ... until Olivia becomes more mobile and steals toys, of course.

And Then There Was Light

and an outlet. No electrocutions!

Latte Anyone?

Fueled with a venti vanilla latte, Ryan went to town painting the new guest bedroom. Does he sleep? Does he eat? Nope ... the man just WORKS.

Mr. Paint Man

Send us a dream ... Ryan is at it again. Walls and celing have been sanded and primed and the cement floor has been painted. We picked out the hard wood flooring and wall paint color - latte (same as living room upstairs). Ryan's folks and Sister come to visit end of March so the clock is ticking to get this extra guest bedroom complete. No pressure Ry!

New Video Camera

Here is a little video clip of Liv (Emma is napping) playing. I used our new video camera from Douggie and it is SWEET! It is totally tiny and light-weight and so easy to use. Now our video posts won't have that annoying clicking sound in the background. Thanks again Douggie!

Survived Another Birthday

Thank you to everyone for the cards, gifts, emails and phone calls - you guys are amazing! Special thanks to Kristi for delivering a latte and gift card - you are a SAINT. RyMan, thanks for the pizza and ice cream cake tonight ... just delicious. May year 34 be just as great as the rest have been. XOXO to all!

My Name is MUD

Mud, mud and more mud. Ryan is in the taping and mud stage of the remodel. It's not his favorite part - but he's doing a fantastic job! He also covered up the lovely weight-bearing pole. The bunk beds he will build in there will fit perfectly now. Can't wait to see what happens next: flooring, paint, making the bunks? Stay tuned.

Thanks Mates!

Uncle Douggie and Jill B. sent Liv and Em a box of Australian goodies! They had an amazing trip "down under" and sent the girls Koala backpacks, t-shirts, hats, little purses and gummy candy. We opened the box this morning with U.D. and Jill via Skype. Thanks again mates for the fabulous gifts - have a Good D'ay!

Progress and More Progress

Ryan is on fire! Not literally - although he did move some electrical stuff earlier. He leveled the basement floor, got all of the drywall up and he is taping and mudding as I type. He is going to have this room finished in no time!

Be Mine Auntie Jill!

Emma and Olivia's Auntie Jill sent them the cutest Valentine's Day cards (and moolah) - thanks again Jill! Emma especially loved her card which had Auntie Jill's voice on it and the Peanuts theme song (Snoopy card). Here she is playing it for the 20th time tonight. We love you Jilly!

Thank You Valentine's!

Emma and Olivia have been spoiled by all of you cupids! Gifts, candy, cards, money - my goodness. Thank you to the Grandma's, Grandpa's, Great-Grandma's, Great-Grandpa's, friends and Teachers. We love you all and wish you a Happy Valentine's Day this Sunday!

6 Month Compare

Can you guess which is which? I usually think the girls look totally different ... but not here!

Bananna-Rama

Momma G sent me three fabulous attachments for our Kitchen Aid mixer. If you don't have the scrape-bowl attachment - GET IT. It will change your life! I made bananna bread this morning and it is perfection. Too bad this doesn't have smell-ivision. Thanks again Momma G!

We've Got Walls and a Ceiling!

Ryan ... what can I say? He is the MAN. In his "spare" time he manages to build actual walls with insullation and a ceiling - by himself. I bow down to you, Mr. Gibson. Dry wall ... here we come.

Library is Open

My friend Debby gave us her daughter Lilliana's collection of books she has outgrown. Emma made me read at least 20 before I could eat something for dinner. Thank you so much Deb and Lil Pill!

Remodel Progress

Ryan is seriously SUPER handy guy. He already has the wall supports up. Here he is showing off his work to Miss Emma (for approval, of course).
