Haircut for Emma

Since Mommy "trims" Emma's bangs - she needed a serious haircut. Here we are at Great Clips in Cherry Creek. Emma was SO well-behaved and got a sucker as her reward. Later we went swimming and had ice cream - a good day indeed!

More Christmas Day Fun

Olivia had some bouncer fun as Emma and I looked on. Plus, we had the girls pose together in their Christmas Day reds (thanks Grandma G.!).

Merry Christmas!

WOW! We sure we spoiled this Christmas, my goodness! Emma was kind of in a "Christmas coma" halfway through opening gifts since there were so many. Thank you to everyone who sent cards, gifts and money - we are truly blessed! The front-runner favorites were the cabbage patch doll from Great Aunt Dawn, Great Uncle Bruce and cousins Casey and Andrea. Santa brought the Disney vanity which has a built in piano and the Dora pop up tent from Uncle Doug and Jill B. was a huge hit. We were all snug in our p.j.'s from Grandma and Grandpa Gibson reading books from Grandma Z. Thank you everyone for the clothes, toys and books. Merry Christmas to all!

Emma's First Look

Emma was a little shy this morning with her first look at the Christmas tree with presents.

SANTA Was Here!

We just heard the jingle bells and 'ol Saint Nick climb up the chimney. Look at the fabulous gifts he left for us good girls and boy. Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Night!

Zoo Lights

A new Christmas Eve tradition is born! We took the Girls to Zoo lights and we had a jolly good time. It was cold but the lights were spectacular, animals were awake and the hot chocolate was yummy. Here are some pictures from tonight.

First Christmas Gifts!

Our neighbors Andy and Deepi Clark stopped by last night to give the Girls their first Christmas presents! (The rest are being "delivered" by Santa tonight under the tree - since we couldn't trust a curious 2-year old from not opening them). Here is Emma opening her's last night and she opened Olivia's this morning. Olivia received a darling blue dress with tights and Emma got a cool interactive game with the TV from Fisher-Price. Ryan and Emma just tested it out by racing each other. Ryan won but Emma was a close 2nd. Happy Christmas Eve everyone!

Merry-Go-Round

On our way back from Vail today we stopped off at the Colorado Mills Mall for a little shopping. Emma was obsessed with the Merry-Go-Round so Ryan took her on there. She kind of went back and forth from smiling and having fun to fear and wanting to get off the horse. She's SO two.

Vail 2009

We survived our first Gibson Family 4-pack overnight trip! We headed up to Vail for a fun-filled day and spent the night in the Streamside Marriott. We went sledding, toured Vail Village and swam in the hotel pool. The weather was great (not too cold but lightly snowing) and the starbuck's coffee was flowing, thank goodness. Really got us into the Holiday spirit!

Ready for Santa!

The girls got decked out in red for a Holiday party with our Friday play group. Cupcakes, ornament making and a stocking stuffed with goodies for Emma. Mommy even scored a gift in the gift exchange! Emma is digging her advent calendar and the countdown to Christmas has begun. I think we've watched the Dora Christmas DVD 1,000 times now. Liv is saying "please, no more Dora. Por favor!".

Disney On Ice!

We headed to the Pepsi Center this snowy Sunday (Ryan's 32nd birthday!) and caught a fantastic show - Disney On Ice! Mickey, Minnie and the gang hosted the Little Mermaid, Lion King, Cars and Tinkerbell. We scored front row tickets and both Emma and Olivia were mesmerized by the skaters and props. Sorry if the photos are blurry - those skaters are fast!
