Baby Olivia Update
36 weeks and counting! Olivia is measuring right on time and she is "head down" right smack on my bladder (thank you very much). We now move into weekly doctor appointments until the BIG DAY - July 27th at 9:30 am. Happy thoughts that Olivia doesn't make an early entrance like her Big Sis Emma.

Making Noise
Here Emma and her Daddy are starting their own band: banging measuring cups along the brick side of the house. They play birthday parties and weddings... anyone?

Blame it on the Rain
We had a beautiful morning that was followed by non-stop thunderstorms. Usually we get one storm per June afternoon but we're up to 6 storms today so far. Nothing like being couped up with a 2-year old, 2 pugs and a 9-month preggo lady ... plus, Farrah Fawcett AND freaking Michael Jackson die today? What the heck is going on?! Let's hope tomorrow is a better day.

Happy Father's Day!
"Happy Daddy Day!" as Emma would say. We started the day off with presents for Emma's Daddy and then a big walk to the park with the dogs. Emma walked the dogs herself all the way to the park (5 whole blocks!). We stopped at the playground next so Emma and her Daddy could explore and have fun. After a little shopping excursion (Mommy got shoes and Emma got a pool noodle) we headed over to Andy and Deepi's to hang out. Later we skyped with Grandma and Grandpa G to wish him a "Happy Pappa Day!".

Obstacle Course
Emma was first in line to try out the obstacle course today. With a little help from Coach Desiree - she did it!

Emma and Caylen at the Zoo
Emma and Caylen started today day off with a fun trip to the zoo! We loaded up in the wagon with their snacks and Heather and I took them on a "safari". We saw kangaroos, monkeys, elephants, fish and sea lions! We finished off the morning with an ice cream cone, of course, although Caylen was more interested in dancing around than eating.

Martha Stewart - Eat Your Heart Out
Inspired by a friend's fancy artwork holder for her kids stuff - I decided to take a stab at creating our own for Emma's room. Her Big Girl room is coming together quite nicely! We also managed to get the "EMMA GRACE" up so now we just have a few picture frames to hang and we are done. Here is the result of today's project during Emma's nap time. (Land of Nod also sells something very similar to this artwork hanger for $13 - I made it for about $2. Oh yeah).
Play Date with Caylen!
Today started off great with a super fun play date with Caylen! Caylen is also going to be a Big Sister so Emma and Caylen had lots to talk about. They played outside with the sandbox, bubble machine, water table and took turns on the power wheel. After a short stop to play in Emma's room, we all headed out to the front porch for sidewalk chalk time. We can't wait for Caylen to come over and play again!
